Overview

The location of this soccer field is in an area far from the main road and is classified as a remote area. There is no paved road to the residents' houses, so it is certain that the road is dusty during the summer, and muddy during the rainy season.

This unfavorable condition also sometimes makes residents not do too many activities on this open land. Moreover, the main function of this land is as a soccer field. The condition of our soccer field is not much better than the condition and access to the road. The topography of our field is sloping, actually not suitable for use as a soccer field.

The sloping condition of the field does not even dampen interest and desire to continue playing soccer. Until now, we routinely hold soccer tournaments at our regional level. However, this time we want to increase the scale of our tournament higher with the hope that more teams will join and come from various regions.

But until today, for years this field has always been the grass for the talents of young soccer players from Pasir Maju Village to hone their soccer game. There is even 1 student who gets a full scholarship to a national level soccer athlete school.

This sloping field will be used as a place of worship for Muslims twice a year to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. So actually, it is very necessary to repair and level this sloping field.

Impact

By repairing this sloping field to be flat, various generations of great soccer athletes will grow because they always train with adequate facilities.

With a flat field too, the use of this field is not limited to playing for the local community, but can also hold open soccer tournament events that can invite teams from various regions. so that every year, this field can be used as a sports tourism object. Especially in the Pasir Maju area, every time there is a big event like this, the economic turnover around the field will also increase, because of the many buying and selling transactions that occur.

In addition to being a sports facility, by improving the condition of the field, its benefits will increase, such as a place for official ceremonies, joint gymnastics, campaigns, counseling, and various other community activities.

The most important impact for the environment is that there is no more erosion due to water that always falls towards the lowest corner of the field, namely on the shoulder of the road. with the repair of this field, the field will not be damaged quickly, there is no erosion, there are no ditches that are getting wider, or roads that collapse due to continued erosion by water during the rainy season.

With the condition of the field being flat, the impact is actually not only for its purpose as a soccer field, but there are many good impacts that will be obtained by the environment just by fixing one problem with the field.

Previously, we had implemented a water distribution program for rice fields for rice farmers in Pasir Maju in 2020. Because the repair of this field is also technically the same, we will involve people from a background in Civil Engineering Education and profession as technicians. while for the empowerment and social part of the community, we also involve the local government.
