Core Contributor Application

I am applying as a Core Contributor to the Gardens platform, where I focus on project management and growth initiatives while contributing to software development.

My Role & Contributions

As a Core Contributor since June 2024, I help lead project management and support growth initiatives for the Gardens platform. My work spans multiple areas:

Project Management Leadership:

  • Gardens platform development coordination
  • Green Goods - a PWA bringing biodiversity onchain by Greenpill Dev Guild
  • GreenWill - a methodology to measure regenerative actions with governance and access by Greenpill Dev Guild
  • Squad Staking - an initiative to grow sustainable yield for public goods by Greenpill Dev Guild

Technical Contributions: I contribute to the Gardens platform through minor bug fixes and small UI and API improvements, helping maintain and enhance the user experience.

Background & Experience

I am the Steward of the Greenpill Dev Guild and Network, where I actively lead community growth and project management across a multitude of activities. I also focus on growth and exploring funding and partnership opportunities. This experience has given me deep expertise in coordinating regenerative projects and building sustainable communities.

I have been supporting Gardens growth directly since March 2024 with the GG23 community round and joined as a Core Contributor in June 2024.

Goals & Priorities

My main objectives as a Core Contributor over the next few months include:

  • Help Gardens grow into maturity
    • Supporting the platform's evolution into a robust, sustainable ecosystem
  • Grow the amount of communities and proposals being created
    • Expanding adoption and engagement across the platform
  • Ensure Gardens UI is ready for GG24
    • Leading major improvements to enhance user experience

Specific UI Improvements for GG24

I am working on several critical UI enhancements to prepare Gardens for GG24:

  • Mobile Optimization
  • Dark Mode implementation
  • Edit proposals, pool and community descriptions functionality
  • Social Preview with links
  • Sorting and filtering of proposals
  • Update markdown editor

These improvements will significantly enhance the user experience and make Gardens more accessible and functional for the growing community.

Through my work as a Core Contributor, I aim to help Gardens become the leading platform for regenerative funding and community coordination. By combining technical improvements with strategic growth initiatives, I'm working to ensure Gardens can effectively serve the growing ecosystem of projects working toward positive impact and regenerative outcomes.
