Location

I will be hosting meetups in Salamá, Baja Verapaz, Guatemala. We have secured two excellent venues:

  • Fuso: A well-equipped local business perfect for community gatherings
  • A personal space with proper furniture and setup for intimate meetings

Past Experience

I have successfully organized more than 10 blockchain-focused community events, demonstrating my commitment to education and community building in the web3 space. Here's a glimpse of one of our previous successful gatherings:

Meetup Vision

I plan to organize monthly meetups focused on:

  • Education about the Nouns ecosystem and its ongoing developments
  • Web3 knowledge sharing and practical applications
  • Creating positive impact through community initiatives
  • Building a strong, engaged local community

Community Engagement Strategy

To ensure strong participation and community growth, I will:

  • Utilize Facebook as our primary promotional platform, leveraging its popularity in Guatemala
  • Implement a word-of-mouth strategy, encouraging each participant to bring a new person to future meetups
  • Document all events through photography (which I enjoy as a hobby) to share our community's growth
  • Post regular updates on Farcaster in the appropriate channels

Social Impact Initiatives

To embody nounish values and create positive externalities, we plan to:

  • Create scholarship opportunities for local children
  • Support vulnerable families in our community
  • Document and share our impact to inspire other communities

Our goal is to build a welcoming, educational, and impactful community that embraces the nounish values while making a real difference in Salamá.
