I am Sara Fernandes, founder of Mi Costa de Oro, a comprehensive community initiative in Ocumare de la Costa de Oro, Aragua, Venezuela, that combines beach cleaning with educational and technological advancement programs.

We maintain and clean five key beaches in Ocumare:
- La Boca
- Malecón

Current Operations
We conduct weekly beach cleaning sessions every Thursday at 4:00 PM with over 50 regular participants. Our project has received approval from local municipal authorities to conduct these environmental improvement activities.
Waste Management
Our comprehensive waste management approach includes:
- Separation of recyclable materials for educational workshops
- Proper disposal of non-recyclable waste in 30kg bags
- Coordination with local urban sanitation services
- Material repurposing for educational activities
- Municipal processing for potential resale
Our community school operates with two daily shifts:
- First Shift: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Second Shift: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Special Friday crafts workshops using recycled materials
- Meals provided (breakfast and snacks)
We provide diverse educational workshops including:
