Park Location and Details

• Park Location: Kogi State Children and Youth Amusement Park

Current State Documentation

The park is currently in a neglected state with significant trash accumulation throughout the area, making it unsuitable for children to play safely.

Park Care Plans

I plan to clean the park twice a month using tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, waste bags, and gloves. Initially, I will work alone but plan to involve more community members over time to increase the impact and efficiency of the clean-up efforts.

Waste Management

I will use the community bins to dispose of collected waste. Additionally, I plan to purchase trash containers to place within the park and coordinate with the state waste management vehicle to regularly remove the accumulated waste from the environment.

Authorization

I will obtain permission from the park manager by demonstrating the importance of maintaining a clean environment for children. I plan to show before and after images to highlight the impact of the clean-up efforts.

Previous Experience

I have experience in environmental waste management which will be valuable for this project.

Maintenance Strategy

To ensure long-term cleanliness of the park, I will:

1. Install trash bins throughout the park
2. Create and place signage showing proper waste disposal locations
3. Work with the park manager to encourage community participation in maintaining cleanliness
4. Coordinate with local residents to make use of the provided trash cans

My motivation for this project stems from my personal connection to this park, which I enjoyed as a child. Seeing its current state, I want to restore it to a clean, hygienic environment where today's children can safely play and create their own positive memories.
