About Me
Artistic Background
- Primary mediums I work in: Digital illustration using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Fresco, with occasional traditional media like crayons and papercraft
- My artistic style: Colorful, quirky cartoon style with clean lines and vibrant colors, as well as clean and simple abstract minimalist style
Since 2015, I've been immersed in the world of graphic design, starting with experience at an advertising consultant. After that, I moved into the realm of fine arts and focused on art education for children in Jakarta, Indonesia. This experience fostered a deep interest in creating content and illustrations that are relevant and engaging for children. I'm very enthusiastic about making zines, picture books, and even songs for them.

Nounish Vision
- How I plan to incorporate Nouns/Noggles: I will continue developing my "Beyond the Nouns" project, a children's storybook series that incorporates Nouns characters with Noggles in imaginative settings, teaching children about creativity, community, and positive values
- Why my style fits the Nouns community: My colorful, playful style appeals to children while maintaining the iconic Nouns aesthetic, making the Nouns concept accessible to younger audiences
I am very excited to continue my project entitled "Beyond the Nouns." This is a children's story book that has previously received funding from the Nouns Community artist program. I want to develop this project further with a sharper focus, hoping to make it more sustainable and produce a series of books in the future. Each book will tell about the magic of Noggles Nouns, as well as translate Nouns' concepts and spirit into a simple, entertaining, and easy-to-understand language for children. This book will be available for free and published on the website and NFT platforms such as Zora.
Furthermore, I want to ensure that all visual assets in the book, such as illustrations and design elements, can be recycled or used freely by anyone. This is in line with the spirit of Nouns that upholds the CC0 license. Thus, this book is not only a source of entertainment and education, but also a valuable free resource for various creative needs.
Originality Statement
- My creative process is completely original and human-made
- I do not use AI tools in any part of my process
- My process for ensuring authenticity: I begin each illustration with hand-drawn sketches on paper or directly on my digital tablet using Adobe Fresco, allowing me to deeply feel the artwork and ensuring that every detail is the result of my own ideas and skills. Once the initial sketch is complete, I scan it into Adobe Photoshop, where I perform coloring, detail adjustments, and final touches manually, without the assistance of AI. For transparency, I document my entire creative process, from initial sketches to final illustrations, including screenshots, short videos, and notes on my design choices.
Content Creation Plan
- Planned creation frequency: One children's storybook per month (10-12 pages with illustrations)
- Content ideas: Each book will have a different title and theme, exploring various aspects of the Nouns universe and values. I will also release the visual assets from each book as NFTs on Zora, with at least four updates per month.
- Potential collaboration ideas: I envision working with musicians to create theme songs, animators to bring illustrations to life, children's authors for more complex stories, and developers for educational games based on the characters.
If I receive this grant, my plan is to produce one children's storybook per month. Each book will have a different title and consist of 10-12 pages, complete with engaging illustrations on every page. Once a book is completed, I will release the elements or visual assets from the book on a regular basis, with at least four updates per month. Both the book and the visual assets will be minted as NFTs on the Zora platform. I will also create a simple website using the Notion platform to create a centralized database of all the works and assets that I have created.
To keep the community engaged, I will provide updates at least twice a week through Warpcast, Twitter, and Instagram. As part of this strategy, I plan to create new Twitter and Instagram accounts specifically dedicated to the "Beyond the Nouns" project. These updates will include behind-the-scenes glimpses of the book creation process, illustration teasers, creative content, and project promotion.
Furthermore, if this project grows, I would like to hold direct activations with children in my local neighborhood. These activations aim to make the book more beneficial and have a positive impact on the community. Each activity will be carefully documented and shared online. I believe that direct interaction with children will provide valuable insights and help me to continuously improve the quality of "Beyond the Nouns" books in the future.
