Planet Lukukul's New Season Is Rather Nounish

Planet Lukukul's New Season Is Rather Nounish

About Me

I am Aisha, a rap artist who has spent the last 2 years building Planet Lukukul through storytelling. For each season, we bring together new cohorts of creators with different expertise to collaboratively tell stories.

Content Format

I create multi-dimensional storytelling experiences that include:

  • Music (soundtracks for each season)
  • Visual art (artwork for songs and stories)
  • Written stories and comics
  • Physical merchandise tied to the narrative

Portfolio and Previous Work

We are currently in our third season of Planet Lukukul. Our previous seasons included "To Planet Lukukul" which explored why we left Earth for this new planet.

For each season, we run bootcamps to curate music that serves as soundtracks, visual artists create artwork for those songs, and writers develop stories. At the end of every season, we present the complete story to our community and sell merchandise linked to the narrative.

Content Strategy

For this Nounish season, we'll be releasing content bi-weekly/monthly, alternating between:

  • Music from the bootcamp sessions
  • Visual art and storytelling elements

This season's story is titled "econs beckons, you reckon?" - a narrative about how new settlers on Planet Lukukul come together to make money for themselves. It's a subtle reflection of what will be happening in real life with all the creators who collaborate to tell the story.

The themes we'll explore include:

  • Financial literacy
  • Creative liberation
  • The importance of collaboration amongst artists

For the Nounish integration, we'll incorporate Nouns characters into our world, and some existing characters will wear noggles, creating a bridge between our universe and the Nouns aesthetic.

Distribution Plan

I will share regular updates on the Nouns channel on Farcaster. Additionally, we'll promote the content through:

  • Our existing social media channels
  • Pop-up events for merchandise
  • Music promotion in both web2 and web3 spaces
  • Art exhibitions for the visual components
  • Attaching public goods from this project to our onchain world

Community Engagement

We'll make an open call for creators in the Nouns community to join any part of the storytelling process:

  • World building
  • Music creation
  • Visual art
  • Story writing
  • Administrative support

Many of the creators joining this story will be experiencing Nouns and onchain activities for the first time, creating an opportunity to expand the Nouns community.

Content Impact

Through this project, we hope to bring together approximately 40 creators of different expertise to build this new story. This will:

  • Open new frontiers for creators to monetize their work through merchandise sales
  • Promote artists' music across web2 and web3
  • Exhibit visual artists' work
  • Connect public goods from this project to our onchain world
  • Introduce new creators to the Nouns ecosystem and onchain experiences

By blending our established storytelling framework with Nounish elements, we'll create a unique entry point for both our existing community and new audiences to engage with Nouns culture.
