About Me
I have a background in community service, having been involved in making and distributing nose masks for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic to help improve public health.

I plan to feed the homeless and less privileged people in Abuja, Nigeria. This initiative will involve distributing already cooked meals two times a month to 20-40 people per session. The meals will be prepared in partnership with local food vendors/restaurants to ensure quality and cultural appropriateness.
The beneficiaries will be homeless individuals and families living in poverty in the Dei-Dei to Karmo area of Abuja. These areas have significant populations of people who struggle to get regular nutritious meals.
Expected Impact
This initiative will:
- Provide immediate hunger relief to 40-80 people monthly
- Improve the nutritional status of beneficiaries
- Create a sense of community and care for those who often feel forgotten
- Raise awareness about food insecurity in Abuja
- Introduce the Nouns community and its values to local residents
Previous Experience
I was involved in making and distributing nose masks for the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience taught me how to organize community service activities, coordinate with volunteers, and ensure resources reach those who need them most.
Implementation Plan
Frequency:
two meal distribution sessions per month (approximately bi-weekly)
Location:
Various points within the Dei-Dei to Karmo area of Abuja, focusing on locations where homeless and less privileged people gather
Resources needed:
- Food supplies (purchased from local vendors)
- Packaging materials
- Transportation for food delivery
- Nounish branded aprons and materials for visibility
Team:
I will be working with a friend who shares the same values and vision for community service. We will coordinate the food preparation with local vendors and handle the distribution ourselves.
Nounish elements:
We will incorporate Nouns branding into our service by wearing Nounish aprons during distribution and documenting our work to share with the Nouns community. This will help spread awareness about the Nouns DAO and its commitment to helping those in need.
