Fosac Tour: Sharing Nounish Values with Nigerian Youth

Fosac Tour: Sharing Nounish Values with Nigerian Youth

About Me

I am Benny Atsua, a singer/songwriter and web3 enthusiast based in Nigeria. I've been using music as a tool for positive social impact through my "For Schools & Colleges Tour" (Fosac Tour) since 2023, where I help young people navigate harmful media messages and develop media literacy skills.

Content Format

I will create videos and pictures documenting my pre and post-event school visits, as well as the main Fosac Tour event in September 2025. These visual stories will capture how I'm sharing Nounish values with students and teachers throughout my educational initiatives in Nigeria.

Portfolio and Previous Work

My previous work includes:

  • Base Sessions City Tour videos showing my presentations bringing music artists and creators on chain through my blockchain-driven entertainment company
  • Videos documenting my interactions with students during previous Fosac Tour events
  • My "Keep Me Safe Online" album, which engages young people on navigating harmful media messages

The attached videos demonstrate my ability to connect with both creators and students while sharing blockchain concepts in accessible ways.

Content Strategy

I will incorporate Nounish values into my storytelling through:

  1. Documenting "Do Good With No Expectation of Return"

    • Creating before/after video stories of students who received exam fee support
    • Interviewing students about how this unexpected support changed their educational journey
    • Showing the ripple effects of support through their families and communities
  2. Showcasing "Creating Positive Externalities"

    • Filming the broader impact of the Fosac Tour beyond just the event itself
  3. Highlighting "Embracing Absurdity & Difference"

    • Capturing diverse student reactions to learning about Nouns' unique aesthetic
    • Showing how students interpret Nounish concepts through their own cultural lens
    • Creating content showing how Nigerian youth relate to and adapt Nounish concepts
  4. Demonstrating "Teaching People About Nouns & Crypto"

    • Creating short educational videos explaining Nouns in accessible terms for students
    • Documenting "aha moments" when students grasp blockchain concepts through quizzes
    • Showing how I'm introducing web3 concepts in an educational context
  5. Capturing the "Have Fun" Value

    • Filming the joy and excitement during musical performances
    • Documenting playful moments during mentorship sessions
    • Showing how serious educational content can be delivered in entertaining ways

Distribution Plan

I will share these stories on Farcaster in appropriate Nounish channels, as well as other social media platforms to reach both the Nouns community and beyond. The content will be posted regularly, at least twice a month before, during, and after my September 2025 Fosac Tour event, creating a narrative arc that shows the journey of introducing Nounish values to Nigerian students.

Community Engagement

I will engage the community by:

  • Incorporating feedback from the Nouns community into my storytelling approach
  • Creating interactive content that invites viewers to participate in the educational journey
  • Highlighting community members who support the initiative
  • Facilitating direct connections between students and the Nouns community where possible

Content Impact

My storytelling will contribute to growing the Nouns society and deepening our collective cultural story by:

  1. Expanding to New Demographics

    • Introducing Nouns to Nigerian youth who might never have encountered web3 concepts
    • Integrating Nounish values into educational contexts, creating an entry point for students and educators
    • Bridging traditional education with web3 innovation, bringing new audiences into the ecosystem
  2. Cultural Translation and Adaptation

    • Showing how Nounish values translate across cultural contexts
    • Documenting how Nigerian students interpret and adapt Nounish concepts adds new dimensions to the Nouns narrative
    • Enriching the global Nouns story with diverse perspectives through cross-cultural exchange
  3. Creating Emotional Connection

    • Showing real impact on students' lives, creating emotional investment in the Nouns ecosystem
    • Connecting the abstract concept of Nouns to tangible human outcomes through personal stories of educational transformation
    • Building crucial emotional connections for community growth and retention
  4. Demonstrating Real-World Impact

    • Providing concrete examples of how Nounish values create positive change
    • Shifting perception of Nouns from purely digital art to a movement with real-world influence
    • Showcasing tangible outcomes that strengthen the narrative of Nouns as a force for good
  5. Creating Educational Resources

    • Developing content that becomes a resource for others looking to understand and implement Nounish values
    • Providing a blueprint for similar initiatives elsewhere through documentation of my process
    • Helping scale the impact of Nouns beyond direct funding
  6. Building Intergenerational Bridges

    • Connecting younger generations with web3 concepts in accessible ways
    • Documenting how teachers and mentors embrace these concepts shows how Nouns can transcend generational divides
    • Ensuring the longevity and evolution of the Nouns community
  7. Showcasing African Innovation in Web3

    • Highlighting African contributions to the Nouns ecosystem
    • Challenging Western-centric narratives in web3 and enriching the global conversation
    • Creating a more inclusive community narrative by documenting Nigerian youth engagement with Nouns

Through this storytelling initiative, I aim to create a visual narrative that not only documents the impact of Nounish values in Nigerian education but also expands the cultural footprint of the Nouns community globally.
