Mission

The Storytelling Flow supports creators who capture, remix, and broadcast compelling Gnars narratives across all media formats. We fund storytellers who can translate the raw energy of shredding into content that sparks excitement, onboards newcomers, and grows awareness for the Gnars brand through high-quality, shareable media.

Payment Structure

  • Baseline: Each approved storyteller receives at least $100 USDC per month
  • Performance Bonuses: Additional rewards for viral content, exceptional quality, or significant community growth
  • Revenue Splits: Potential additional compensation for content that generates revenue
  • Continuous Flow: Payments stream automatically every second while requirements are met

How to Apply

Submit an application including:

1. Creator Information

  • Your name, contact details, and social handles across all platforms
  • Primary content formats (video, writing, photography, podcasts, etc.)
  • Years of content creation experience
  • Current audience size/engagement metrics

2. Portfolio

  • 3-5 best pieces demonstrating storytelling ability
  • Any previous Gnars or action sports content
  • Examples showing different content formats
  • Metrics on your most successful content

3. Content Strategy

  • Your unique angle on Gnars storytelling
  • Target audience and how you'll reach them
  • Distribution plan across platforms
  • How you'll source stories and access

4. Technical Capabilities

  • Equipment and software you use
  • Production timeline for different content types
  • Collaboration network (videographers, editors, etc.)

5. Application Fee

  • Pay required fee (refunded upon meeting requirements)

Ongoing Requirements

Monthly Production

  • Create at least 2 high-quality pieces of Gnars content per month
  • Content must meet format-specific requirements:
    • Videos: Minimum 60 seconds, professional editing, platform-optimized
    • Articles: Minimum 1000 words, well-researched, engaging narrative
    • Photo Essays: Minimum 10 high-quality images with captions
    • Podcasts: Minimum 20 minutes, good audio quality
    • Other Media: Comparable scope and effort

  • Professional or semi-professional production value
  • Original storytelling (not just reposting others' content)
  • Accurate representation of Gnars culture and values
  • Engaging narrative that holds audience attention

Distribution Requirements

  • Post content on multiple platforms for maximum reach
  • Share on Farcaster in /gnars or relevant channels
  • Include at least one piece monthly on Gnars community platforms (Paragraph.xyz, Mirror, etc.)
  • Optimize content for each platform's algorithm and audience
