Project Overview
Project Title: Nouns Art - Farcaster Marketplace for Contributors and Communities
What does your project do?: Nouns Art is a webapp that curates arts across Farcaster, becoming a living gallery of different kinds of art. It provides a transparent bounty platform for early stage founders to post jobs and art requests, while offering artists a digitized gallery for their work and onboarding them to crypto. The platform will expand to become a comprehensive Farcaster marketplace where contributors and communities can thrive sustainably.

Problem & Solution
What problem are you solving?: The web3 ecosystem has a gap where the large community has no fair way of contributing to their favorite space. Volunteer contributors and artists with zero visibility find it hard to get to the center to offer their services to startups, while early stage startups don't know where to go to begin building. Additionally, wonderful art from artists gets forgotten and lost to the next trend or hype, never being properly archived or stored.
How do people currently solve this problem?: Currently, there's no centralized solution. Artists struggle with visibility, contributors work without fair compensation or recognition, and startups have difficulty finding quality talent at transparent pricing.
Revenue & Business Model
How will you make money?:
- Minting fees for users to get their favorite art or support their favorite artist
- 20% commission on all jobs posted on the job board
- Ad spots when the platform gains enough visibility
What will you sell?: Marketplace services connecting artists and contributors with early-stage startups, minting services for art, and advertising space.
Do you currently have revenue?: No - still in development phase with MVP launching July 28th.
Progress & Execution
How far along are you?: Currently in development with MVP set to launch July 28th, 2025.
Are people already using your product?: Not yet - the MVP is still in development, but we have an early version prototype available.
What's your timeline to launch/completion?: MVP launch by July 28th, followed by partnership outreach and user onboarding campaigns.
How long have you been working on this?: I've been working on this project while building on my 2 years of experience as a contributor in the crypto space.
Technical Details
What tech stack are you using?: No-code tools including Framer, Lovable, Pipedream, Make.com, Airtable, and Neynar for art scraping.
Implementation plan: Building solo initially, with plans to bring on technical co-founders as we scale. The no-code approach allows for rapid development and iteration.
What's a non-obvious detail about your project?: We're not just building an art gallery - we're creating a comprehensive ecosystem where "Contributors are BUILDers" and can do more than just participate in hype narratives. True marketing through real use cases and real communities.

Founder Background
Why are you uniquely qualified for this?: I have 2 years of experience as a contributor in the crypto space, having co-founded the Cykle community and worked as a contributor for projects such as Meanfi, Arbitrum, and Mitosis. This gives me deep insight into what early-stage projects need and the challenges contributors face.
How did you come up with this idea?: The specific moment came from the Nouns community. I saw several wonderful artworks from artists that had been forgotten - these arts were neither archived nor stored, just lost to the next trend or hype. I realized that contributors are BUILDers who can do more than being part of the hype narrative. True marketing through real use cases and real communities is what the web3 space needs.
Past achievement: We onboarded over 30+ people in our first Cykle event and have supported them since. This has led to their integration into several communities like FCafrica and Farcaster Friday.
Funding & Growth
How will you use the funding?: Main expenses are development and marketing, including running subscriptions like Neynar for art scraping, Make.com for platform automation, domain expenses, and creating incentivized competitions to onboard artists and partner with early projects.
If you had 10x more funding, what would change?:
- Get more partnerships on the table
- Build a team to speed up development and spin up more features
- Run ads on platforms like TikTok, X, and others for maximum visibility
- Run larger campaigns
Best-case outcome: Execute up to 1000 jobs quarterly and support 500+ artists, becoming the go-to marketplace where startups can quickly find talent and artists/contributors can thrive sustainably.
Additional Information
How did you hear about this accelerator?: I was part of the previous Flows platform and have followed @rocketman since then. I'm a huge fan of him and everything he does, and I'm happy to be part of this venture.
Vrbs Alignment: Vrbs supports artists, helps those in need, and improves public spaces. By offering early stage startups a place to get talent quickly while providing artists a space for their art and community talents a way to contribute, we align with Vrbs values. The Vrbs brand will be widely displayed on the platform including a "supported by Vrbs" tag, and Vrbs-hosted events will be prioritized on the platform.
