Vrbs Street Sessions

Vrbs Street Sessions

About Me

I'm Felipe Flip — skater, musician, singer, songwriter, and content creator. My life has always been on the streets, between skate parks, improvised stages, underground shows, and sessions with friends. DIY culture isn't just a concept for me, it's my daily practice, my origin, and my essence.

In music, I carry three active projects: a hardcore band, a rap jazz band, and a project that mixes Rage Against the Machine instrumentals with Racionais MCs medleys, all played live with a band, on the street or wherever possible.

In skating, my story spans over 20 years — not just riding, but living skate as culture, lifestyle, and form of expression.

In Web3, I'm a builder within NounsDAO, leading two projects:

  • BlackChain: project that celebrates, finances, and amplifies Black presence within Nouns and Web3 culture
  • SensatioNouns: content, media, and experiences that document and spread street culture, skating, art, and sound, always on-chain

Project Overview

Vrbs Street Sessions is a monthly content project that documents and celebrates street culture: skating, music, and lifestyle. Each month, a new session — whether it's a skate session, a musical jam (HipHopPunkJazz Sessions), or a slice of street life.

This project is the natural union of everything I already do — with or without blockchain — now connected with the Vrbs ecosystem to give more power, visibility, and on-chain permanence to our culture.

How This Onboards People to Crypto

Each session, show, and talk will include onboarding guidance, especially for people from peripheral communities. I can connect and bring people to get involved with Street Sessions through QR codes or stickers with QR codes, guiding people from the skate and music scene to enter and collect the NFT from the day I do the show or event, and to register to later check out this content that will be filmed and then minted.

I want to offer free or low-cost access to my shows, events, or talks, guiding people through onboarding and teaching about blockchain, Web3, and crypto. Many people here in Brazil create content for Web2 and don't even know they can also make proposals and monetize, acquire NFTs that can appreciate, and meet more people with cool projects that bring social impact.

Community Impact

My goal is to use skating and music as tools for social transformation. I believe Web3 can bring a more decentralized future and other ways for peripheral people to monetize as well. I want to show the peripheral community that they can monetize the content they already create and introduce them to new possibilities in the decentralized economy.

I want to impact at least 100 people at each show, about 50 if it's talks, or 100 if it's an open street event, ensuring that most of these impacted people understand the platform so their onboarding can be done.

Path to Break-Even

Revenue Model:

  • Mint of content (audio, video, zines, photos)
  • Sale of collectible NFTs
  • Community support via on-chain crowdfunding (like Nouns, Gnars)
  • Brand partnerships
  • Live shows, events, and paid workshops
  • Physical products: stickers, keychains, t-shirts, prints

6-Month Timeline:

  • Month 1-6: One content piece per month
  • Coverage of at least 2 band shows
  • One skate session
  • One Web3 talk
  • One DJ set
  • Create stickers and if possible, one trip

Team

I'll work with the Mindhunters team, the name of the audiovisual production company in São Paulo where I'm a partner, and they help me with filming and editing. I can count on partnerships with BlackChain and Bless Skateshop. I'm also in conversation with Nouns House SP.

Timeline

Over 6 months, I believe I can create one content piece per month and document these events. My main milestones include covering at least 2 shows with bands, one skate session, one Web3 talk, one DJ set, making stickers, and if possible, one trip.

Budget

I want to use the funding to pay the band musicians so that public access becomes cheaper and more accessible for peripheral people. I want to use it to make stickers with QR codes, pay for transportation for the team that will film and edit, and use it to cover costs at venues or events in closed locations.

Supporting Materials

I already create this content for my social networks, both for the SensatioNouns project, BlackChain, and for YouTube, TikTok channels, etc. I've already done test events and a festival called 360fest, which included my show, art exhibition, flash tattoos, vinyl sales, all from peripheral, Black, and mixed-race artists.

Distribution will be through Farcaster, Zora, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with experience minting on Zora platform.
