About Me
I am Samuel Ogboche Ohaba, a fashion designer and community impact advocate based in Abuja, Nigeria. I have over five years of experience in fashion design and clothing production, with a track record of successful small-scale sales. Recently, I've been involved in community impact work through my "Clean Drains Healthy Community" project, where I've been cleaning drainage systems in Abuja to improve public health and reduce mosquito breeding grounds.

Project Overview
Vrbs Fashion Awareness is a clothing venture that creates Vrbs-themed apparel to introduce people to cryptocurrency and the Vrbs community. Through stylish, high-quality clothing featuring bold Vrbs branding, I will spark conversations that naturally lead to educating people about crypto, blockchain technology, and the vibrant Vrbs ecosystem.
How This Onboards People to Crypto
People are naturally curious about designs and themes they're attracted to. When someone sees and wants to buy a piece with Vrbs branding, they ask "What does this design mean?" or "What's Vrbs about?" This creates the perfect opportunity to explain cryptocurrency as a form of digital money operating on decentralized networks using blockchain technology, and introduce them to Vrbs as a DAO with daily community-curated NFT auctions, decentralized governance, and real-time funding for artists, builders, and public initiatives.
This venture will uplift the Abuja community by providing locally-made, quality fashion while creating economic opportunities. Beyond the direct economic impact, it serves as a bridge to introduce our community to the broader crypto ecosystem, potentially opening doors to new opportunities in the digital economy. The educational aspect helps demystify cryptocurrency for everyday people in Nigeria.

Path to Break-Even
Revenue Model: Direct sales of Vrbs-themed clothing starting at $50 per piece
Sales Target: 4-8 pieces per month once established (potentially $200-400+ monthly revenue)
Startup Costs: $500 to get started
Monthly Production Costs: $1000 for 1-2 months of inventory
Timeline: First pieces ready for sale within 7 days of starting design work
Break-even Strategy: With my established fashion skills and local market knowledge, I can achieve profitability within the six-month timeframe through consistent local sales in Abuja and online delivery throughout the city.
Team
I will be working solo initially, leveraging my five years of fashion design experience and recent community impact work. My background in both creative production and community engagement positions me well to execute this venture independently while maintaining quality and community connection.
Timeline
- Week 1: Finalize Vrbs-themed designs and begin production
- Week 2: Launch with multiple clothing types (t-shirts, hoodies, jackets)
- Month 1-2: Establish local sales channels and social media presence
- Month 3-4: Scale production and expand online delivery network
- Month 5-6: Achieve consistent monthly sales and evaluate expansion opportunities
Budget
The initial $500 will cover startup materials and basic production setup. The $1000 production budget will ensure consistent inventory for 1-2 months, allowing me to establish market presence and customer base while working toward sustainable cash flow.
