  • Additional Rewards: Extra funds are available for artists who demonstrate outstanding creativity, community impact, or sustainability.
  • Continuous Flow: Payments stream automatically every second, as long as requirements are fulfilled.

    • Name, contact details, social handles.
  2. Artwork Concept & Portfolio
    • A concise overview of your proposed mural/sculpture/installation.

    • Identify the space(s) you want to install or paint in.
    • Include any written permissions, permits, or local authority approvals.
  5. Timeline & Process

    • Plans for ongoing maintenance if it’s a longer-lasting piece.
  6. Fee
    • Pay an application fee (returned if your proposal meets requirements).

Ongoing Requirements

  1. Creation & Updates
    • Complete one major piece every 2 months.
    • Each work must clearly feature Nouns or Noggles in a visible, intentional way.
  2. Respect the Space
    • Obtain all necessary permissions or permits.
    • Follow local regulations and property owners’ conditions.
    • Keep the site clean and safe during creation.
  3. Community Engagement
    • Document the process (photos/videos) and share them.
    • Encourage the local community to learn about Nouns (e.g., host a small Q&A or hand out info while working).
  4. Regular Posts on Farcaster
    • At least biweekly updates in /nouns or /flows channel.
    • Show progress pics or completed shots with behind-the-scenes commentary.
    • Summarize local reception, challenges, or interesting interactions.
  5. No AI
    • All designs and final execution must be fully human-made (no AI-generated components).
  6. Sustainability & Safety
    • Use proper protective gear and safe materials.
    • Dispose of waste responsibly (paints, solvents, etc.).
    • Respect environmental guidelines for the location.

Embody Nounish Values

  • Innovation: Use creative, boundary-pushing designs to catch public attention.
  • Positive Impact: Aim to beautify or revitalize public spaces, not deface them.
  • Collaboration: Be open to suggestions or small “add-ons” by the local community (if appropriate).
  • Respect & Consent: Don’t create the artwork without the explicit consent of space owners or local authorities.
  • Fun & Inclusive: Involve the public in a playful, constructive way; encourage passersby to ask about Nouns.

How to Post Updates

At least once every two weeks on Farcaster:

  1. Progress or Completion Shots
    • Photos or videos of the current state of the mural/sculpture.
  2. Site Notes
    • Any local regulations you navigated, safety steps, or interesting location aspects.
  3. Community Engagement
    • Share stories of neighbors or visitors commenting on the piece.
    • Mention events or gatherings around the installation.
  4. Next Steps
    • Plans for finishing details, expansions, or future public works.

Verification Methods

  • Visual Documentation: Curators and community can see photo/video evidence.
  • Location Confirmation: Potential on-site spot checks or cross-verification with local references.
  • Community Feedback: Residents or visitors might confirm authenticity and share remarks on the piece.
  • Legal Compliance: Confirmation that the mural or sculpture was lawfully installed (no illegal graffiti or trespassing).

Maintaining Your Funding

  • Meet Milestones: Show visible progress or completion of at least one major piece or update every two months.
  • Foster Community: Respond to comments, answer questions, and remain approachable about Nouns.
  • Respect the Rules: Keep the artwork environment safe, properly permitted, and within local guidelines.
  • No AI or Plagiarism: Stay human-made and original, abiding by the Nounish requirement.

Reasons for Removal

  1. No Substantive Progress for over 2 months without explanation.
  2. Unauthorized Art: Installing on property or public space without permission.
  3. AI Use or Plagiarism: Evidence of generated or stolen designs.
  4. Disrespect for Community: Causing nuisance, ignoring property rights, or leaving sites unsafe.
  5. Failure to Update on Farcaster for more than 6 weeks.
  6. Harmful or Offensive Imagery that conflicts with local laws or basic decency.
  7. Ignoring Environmental & Safety Protocols.

Keeping Things Fresh

  • Local Collaborations: Team up with other local artists or nearby Nounish meetups.
  • Events: Combine unveiling with small gatherings, music, or educational sessions about Nouns.
  • Installment Evolution: Periodically refresh sections of your mural, add new layers, or expand the sculpture.
  • Cross-Pollination: Encourage other Nounish categories (e.g., photographers, product creators) to document or incorporate your public art.

For Curators

  1. Funding Threshold
    • Do not accept new applicants if baseline pay for existing artists would drop below $100 per month.
    • If outside changes reduce it below $100, that’s acceptable, but no new additions at that time.
  2. Review Underperformance
    • If an artist repeatedly fails to maintain quality or comply with site rules, consider removal.
    • If new applicants show strong promise and there’s limited budget, reevaluate existing recipients.
  3. Check Permissions
    • Verify that each public artwork is legally installed.
  4. Spot AI/Copying
    • Look for suspicious patterns that might indicate partial AI usage or unauthorized stencils.
  5. Support Growth
    • Encourage artists to stretch themselves creatively, e.g., moving from 2D murals to 3D installations, if feasible.

Remember: We want passionate creators who bring Nounish wonder to public spaces—while following local rules. If you consistently produce eye-catching, community-focused art that incorporates Nounish imagery and fosters a positive environment, this program will keep funding your public artwork journey.
