Reasons for Removal
- No Substantive Progress for over 2 months without explanation.
- Unauthorized Art: Installing on property or public space without permission.
- AI Use or Plagiarism: Evidence of generated or stolen designs.
- Disrespect for Community: Causing nuisance, ignoring property rights, or leaving sites unsafe.
- Failure to Update on Farcaster for more than 6 weeks.
- Harmful or Offensive Imagery that conflicts with local laws or basic decency.
- Ignoring Environmental & Safety Protocols.
Keeping Things Fresh
- Local Collaborations: Team up with other local artists or nearby Nounish meetups.
- Events: Combine unveiling with small gatherings, music, or educational sessions about Nouns.
- Installment Evolution: Periodically refresh sections of your mural, add new layers, or expand the sculpture.
- Cross-Pollination: Encourage other Nounish categories (e.g., photographers, product creators) to document or incorporate your public art.
For Curators
- Funding Threshold
- Do not accept new applicants if baseline pay for existing artists would drop below $100 per month.
- If outside changes reduce it below $100, that’s acceptable, but no new additions at that time.
- Review Underperformance
- If an artist repeatedly fails to maintain quality or comply with site rules, consider removal.
- If new applicants show strong promise and there’s limited budget, reevaluate existing recipients.
- Check Permissions
- Verify that each public artwork is legally installed.
- Spot AI/Copying
- Look for suspicious patterns that might indicate partial AI usage or unauthorized stencils.
- Support Growth
- Encourage artists to stretch themselves creatively, e.g., moving from 2D murals to 3D installations, if feasible.
Remember: We want passionate creators who bring Nounish wonder to public spaces—while following local rules. If you consistently produce eye-catching, community-focused art that incorporates Nounish imagery and fosters a positive environment, this program will keep funding your public artwork journey.
