Embody Nounish Values

  1. Inclusive Space: Welcome everyone, especially newcomers
  2. Location Care: Leave venues better than you found them
  3. Local Impact: Support community businesses and spaces
  4. Educational Value: Include learning components about crypto/Nouns if needed
  5. Documentation: Share stories and moments to inspire others
  6. Safety First: Ensure comfortable, safe environments
  7. Cultural Respect: Honor local community contexts
  8. Creative Spirit: Embrace absurdity and fun
  9. Positive Vibes: Foster uplifting, encouraging atmosphere
  10. Community Good: Incorporate giving back in every meetup

How to Post Updates

Share for each meetup on Farcaster in /nouns or /flows:

  • Photos and at least one video of the gathering
  • Summary of activities and how they embodied Nounish values
  • Feedback and testimonials from attendees
  • Challenges faced and how you addressed them
  • Stories of community impact

Verification Methods

  • Community feedback
  • Event documentation
  • Impact verification from attendees
  • Consistency of organizing
  • Evidence of community benefit

Reasons for Removal

  • Missing more than 6 weeks without explanation
  • Creating unwelcoming environments
  • Breaking venue rules or local laws
  • Not documenting or posting updates
  • Receiving verified complaints about conduct
  • Ignoring safety considerations

When You Need Fresh Ideas

  • Partner with local organizations
  • Invite guest speakers for Nouns/crypto education
  • Create themed workshops
  • Support local venues/artists
  • Combine with community service
  • Organize cross-community events

For Curators

  • Do not accept new applications if doing so will put the baseline minimum salary of recipients below $100 a month
  • Note: It is fine if the baseline salary falls below $100 as a result of new budgets or Nouns voting, but in that case, no new applications should be accepted
  • Consider removing underperforming organizers if awaiting applicants demonstrate greater alignment with Nounish values and community impact
  • Value quality of engagement over attendee numbers
  • Monitor for genuine embodiment of Nounish values and authentic engagement within the community
  • Ensure participants are following safety guidelines and legal requirements

Remember: We're looking for community builders who create welcoming spaces where people can learn, connect, and do good together. If you can consistently organize meaningful gatherings that embody Nounish values, this program offers steady funding to support your efforts.
