How to Post Updates

At least once a week on Farcaster (in /NounsCarClub channel) or in the NounsCarClub Facebook group:

  1. Progress Photos or Videos
    • Document your car modifications, racing prep, or community meetups.
  2. Community Engagement
    • Recap who attended your events, any new folks introduced to Nouns.
  3. Event Highlights
    • Summaries of local track days, meets, or other automotive gatherings, including attendance and feedback.
  4. Metrics
    • If possible, share engagement stats—people reached, new members, or social impressions.

How Your Work Gets Verified

  • Photo/Video Evidence: Validate build progress, modifications, event turnouts, or race participation.
  • Attendance & Engagement: Track sign-ups or rosters from meets, race results, or visitor logs.
  • Community Feedback: Seek testimonials from participants or co-organizers.
  • Social Media Cross-Reference: Check that your posts match your stated progress (car modifications, events, etc.).

How to Keep Your Funding

  1. Consistent Weekly Updates
    • Show tangible progress or community development.
  2. Measured Growth
    • Demonstrate how your car projects or events expand the Nouns ecosystem (e.g., new fans, social engagement).
  3. Collaboration
    • Participate in calls or threads with other Nouns Car Club builders.
  4. Legal/Safety Compliance
    • Keep all driving, racing, and modifications within local laws and safe boundaries.

What Gets You Removed

  1. No Updates for 2+ Consecutive Weeks
    • Failing to post on Farcaster or Facebook with new progress or event recaps.
  2. Illegal Street Racing or Unsafe Activities
    • Endangering yourself or others by ignoring safety rules or legal guidelines.
  3. False Reporting
    • Misrepresenting progress, attendance, or community impact.
  4. Misuse of Funds
    • Spending Flow money on unrelated personal expenses outside your stated car project or events.
  5. Harmful Behavior
    • Any proven harassment, reckless conduct, or repeated community complaints.

For Curators

  1. Verify Authenticity
    • Validate that build updates, meetups, or races are genuine through photos and community feedback.
  2. Check Engagement
    • Ensure participants truly collaborate with both Nouns and automotive communities.
  3. Monitor Safety & Compliance
    • Watch for evidence of illegal activity, irresponsible driving, or ignoring local regulations.
  4. Assess Impact
    • Gauge each builder’s effect on bridging car culture with Nouns (social reach, new members, positive externalities).

Remember: The Nouns Car Club invests in creative automotive enthusiasts who blend grassroots racing, modifications, and car meets with the Nouns ethos. Share your journey building or racing in a safe, collaborative manner—and keep bridging the gap between car culture and Nouns with engaging content and consistent updates.
