We fund Esports streamers and content creators who represent the Nouns brand, promote Nouns.gg, and support our events to grow our community and visibility.
Payment Structure
- Each approved streamer or content creator receives a baseline monthly payment of at least $100 USDC per month for consistent content creation and promotion.
- Additional rewards are given based on performance metrics such as viewership, engagement, and community impact.
- Extra compensation for covering key Nouns events or participating in special promotions.
- Payments are streamed automatically every second while requirements are met.
How to Apply
Submit an Application with:
- Your name, contact information, and social handle(s).
- Portfolio: Links to past content or a showcase of your streaming and content creation work.
- Audience Metrics: Information about your audience reach, including follower counts, average viewership, and engagement rates.
- Brief Proposal: How you plan to promote Nouns.gg and Nouns Esports, including any unique ideas or strategies.
- Content Plan: Outline of the types of content you will create, your streaming schedule, and the platforms you will use.
- Pay an application fee (this will be returned if you meet the application requirements).
Ongoing Requirements
- Stream at least 2 times per month (specify the number appropriate for your program), with Nouns branding prominently displayed.
- Produce regular Nouns-related content, such as videos, articles, or social media posts.
- Attend, promote, or cover Nouns events and tournaments.
- Actively engage with your audience, including regular shoutouts to Nouns.gg and responding to community questions.
- Ensure all content aligns with Nounish values and promotes the Nouns brand positively.
- Post Updates on Farcaster: In the /nouns or /flows channel, share your latest content, streaming schedule, and any community highlights.
Embody Nounish Values
- Contribute positively to the community without seeking personal gain.
- Your content should benefit viewers and the broader community.
- Encourage and inspire your audience to engage with Nouns.gg and participate in events.
- Produce engaging and innovative content that embodies the spirit of Nouns.
- Foster a welcoming environment for all viewers and community members.
- Maintain high standards in your content quality and interactions.
- Be open about your association with Nouns and your promotional activities.
- Work with other Nounish creators to amplify impact.
- Adhere to platform rules and promote a respectful community.
- Enjoy the process and share your enthusiasm with your audience.
How to Post Updates
At least twice per month, on our Discord channel and on Farcaster in the /nouns or /flows channel:
- Provide a summary of your activities, including streams, content published, and audience engagement.
- Share highlights or clips of your Nouns-related content.
- Inform the community about your upcoming streams or content releases.
- Reflect on your progress and any feedback received from the community.
How Your Work Gets Verified
- Provide statistics on viewership, engagement, and growth (e.g., average viewers, subscriber counts, engagement rates).
- Regular review of your streams and content to ensure alignment with Nouns branding and values.
- Monitor feedback from viewers and community members regarding your content and interactions.
- Ensure you’re meeting the required frequency of content creation and streaming.
How to Keep Your Funding
- Meet or exceed content and streaming requirements.
- Maintain high-quality content that aligns with Nouns’ brand and values.
- Actively engage with your audience and the Nouns community.
- Adhere to all platform guidelines, legal requirements, and Nounish values.
- Be open to feedback and willing to make improvements.
- Participate in promotions, events, and collaborations as needed.
What Gets You Removed
- Misrepresent the Nouns brand or share false information.
- Fail to meet content creation or streaming requirements without valid explanation.
- Engage in inappropriate content, misconduct, or violate platform rules.
- Display behavior that harms the community or goes against Nounish values.
- Ignore communication or feedback from curators or the community.
- Engage in harassment, discrimination, or any form of unethical behavior.
For Curators
Do not accept new applications if doing so will put the baseline minimum salary of recipients below $100 a month.
- Note: If the baseline salary falls below $100 due to budget changes or Nouns voting, refrain from accepting new applications until funding allows.
- Review Performance Regularly:
- Monitor participants for adherence to requirements and Nounish values.
- Consider removing underperforming creators if new applicants demonstrate greater potential and impact.
- Value quality of content and community engagement over sheer numbers.
Support and Guide Creators:
- Provide feedback and resources to help creators align with Nouns’ goals.
- Stay updated on events and promotions to inform participants.
- Encourage collaboration among creators to amplify impact.
Additional Responsibilities
- Stay Updated on Events: Keep informed about upcoming Nouns events and rounds to ensure timely promotion.
- Provide Regular Feedback: Share insights on your progress and any challenges faced.
- Collaborate on Promotions: Work with the Nouns team on special promotions or campaigns as needed.
