About 40 locals built and planted bamboo-framed garden beds, boosting fresh produce in the community green space. Volunteers cleared overgrowth and picked out native shrubs to anchor a new forest garden area. Raised beds on school grounds now give students space to grow healthy food. A container classroom got its first safe power wiring, lighting up learning for everyone.
May 2025
This month we hit a record crowd of 62 at our bilingual impact concert. Twenty-five favela residents dove into blockchain basics in our Web3 workshop. A new inclusive Pilates studio opened, serving seniors, wheelchair users and people with different mobility needs. Volunteers stocked orphanage kitchens with instant noodles. Local folks also swept a busy lane spotless.
April 2025
Fourteen participants joined an inclusive forest hike, learning about the Atlantic Forest and filling bags with litter. Six kids chopped fresh fruit, picked apples at the market, and played games to learn healthy eating. Volunteers swept and cleared roadside drains and put up safety signage to keep streets cleaner and safer. Community spaces now feature bright new lighting and power outlets, and three widows got essential food supplies.
March 2025
Residents cleared trash from a busy Songo Ota market road, giving locals a cleaner street. Drainage in Omachi, Rumuodomaya and rural Abuja was cleared, cutting flood risks. A worn curve warning sign got a fresh coat of paint to boost night-time safety. Twenty artists opened Web3 wallets at Vida Verde, unlocking new digital skills. Over 350 people joined community shows, bridging art and social projects.
February 2025
Residents now enjoy a safer, 30-meter community pathway and cleaner streets after weekly clean-ups cleared five bags of trash. Two faded road signs were repainted for better visibility. A new fire pit and benches welcomed over 30 local artists and neighbors for community gatherings. Plus, 31 people boosted strength, mobility, and well-being through inclusive Pilates sessions.

We stabilized 30 m of community pathway with a new drainage canal and cement layer for safer access. Volunteers cleared five trash bags of litter in local cleanups. Teams planted 150 trees to grow green corridors. Local students built a biological water filter model to recycle wastewater. Our hub hosted two impact shows, spotlighting 10 social projects.
