Over 80 players joined our in-person tournaments this month, from weekly meetups to multi-genre events. We boosted prize pools with an extra 200 USDC, raising the stakes for top finishers. Travel grants helped 18 out-of-region competitors make it to local brackets. Streams peaked at 180 viewers with Nouns branding front and center. Four players earned funding to represent at the upcoming Nouns Bowl.

March 2025

Weekly Smash Bros tournaments got fresh overlays and pro commentary, giving viewers clear visuals and smoother live streams. Saskatchewan Smash moved into a larger campus space, landed local sponsors, and now offers a 250 USDC prize pool each month. Toronto’s Melee weeklies debuted custom graphics on stream and crowned 8 top competitors. The Nounish Gaming Tournament brought together 16 racers for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, with full race replays online and prize payouts sent out.

February 2025

Nearly 190 players took part in six tournaments, including three weekly Toronto Smash Melee events streamed live. Over $1,200 in cash prizes was awarded, and upgraded streaming gear boosted online coverage. Eight out-of-region competitors used travel funding, with six setting up their first crypto wallets to claim support.

January 2025

Over 90 players competed in local Smash Bros. tournaments this month, with 58 in Toronto and 35 at Bristol’s Basement. Winners shared over $450 in prize money plus a £350 pool and extra USDC awards. Saskatchewan Smash fans got a pro-grade stream upgrade with crisp video, live commentary, and custom overlays.
