May 2025
Skaters in São Paulo can now turn on-chain points into real gear at Bless Skateshop, giving crypto rewards a real-world boost. Kids in local neighborhoods learned balance and pushing skills in street workshops, sparking confidence. Farcaster users got a motivational workout clip to level up their gym game. Plus, voting on on-chain proposals is now all in one place with summaries, chat and casting built into a single frame.
April 2025
Seven downhill skate sessions brought dozens of riders each and earned 2,300 community votes. A coach carried 60 skaters to a national park meetup and we handed out Nounish glasses to amp up the vibe. In Kampala, 10 local youth learned skate tricks and five Ugandan skate organizations got new gear. Inline athletes joined three world races to push Nounish global.
March 2025
Over 60 downhill skateboarders took part in the 'Tuck & Up' event in Bogotá. A Women’s Day basketball tournament brought together 12 athletes and 27 community members with Nounish trophies and park murals. Eleven rescue pilots and surfers earned professional aquatic safety certificates, blending ocean skills with Web3. Six youths in Kampala upgraded to real skateboards, and Santo Amaro got a new skatepark.
February 2025
Two new skate spots—a concrete bowl and a halfpipe—opened in Brazil. Over 30 local youth rode custom-painted boards they made themselves. Our Patagonia kayak vlog flew the Nouns flag 30 km downstream, and kids caught their first waves solo. Pickleball wrapped its first season with a gold-medal win.
January 2025
Over 1,580 skaters are now ranking, trading NFTs and tracking community points on the new Skatehive Leaderboard. In Brazil, 600 people joined a Surf Legends premiere to honor champions and mint surf-themed NFTs. We kicked off a six-week indoor pickleball league in a brand-new facility with weekly matches. Local parks got a fresh Nounish makeover with colorful murals, playground repainting and a security camera.
December 2024
Pro surfer Sunny Pires hit the road in California for a new YouTube series, minting several branded surf videos and earning coverage in Brazil. São Paulo’s Sopa de Letras skate plaza got a full makeover and a photo collage mint raised funds for future work. Skate and BMX crews in Bogota, Rayong and Bangkok minted NFTs on Zora, and Skatehive launched $NOGS tipping and airdrops to reward skaters.
November 2024
The flow spotlighted skate and surf athletes from Uganda, Thailand, and Medellín, bringing new stories and videos to a global audience. We minted several NFTs – from “Bangkok Wired” and “Sukhumvit Kickflip” photos to event highlight videos – that pumped funds directly into athlete and community projects. GnarsDAO unveiled an asymmetrical surfboard design and handed out recycled Noggles keychains at Devcon to promote sustainable sports culture. Custom glow-in-the-dark merch and mountain skate films added fresh ways for fans to connect with the Nounish Athletes community.
