Nouns Meetups
Explore the monthly impact and progress of 24 grants in this flow.
April 2025
We opened a cozy studio for weekly music jams, workshops and podcasts, giving our meetups a home base. In Bogotá, 40 downhill skaters tried out Web3 sports and 20 set up new Ethereum wallets on the spot. 28 UNEC students and 13 Santiago artists joined onchain expos to learn funding and sharing tools in Web3. Our São José dos Campos meetup kicked off with 11 people earning on-chain attendance badges.
March 2025
Meetups in March brought over 110 people together across six countries, from web3 workshops in Salvador and Bogotá to community art jams in Mashhad and Noronha. We launched three new podcast episodes, inspiring kids with music and cultural stories and racking up more than 60 listens. Local partners in Noronha and São José dos Campos began accepting crypto for art and coffee, showing Nouns values in action.
February 2025
We brought Nouns Meetups to Abuja, Bogotá, Santiago and Taboão da Serra, educating over 130 people in Web3 basics and sparking more than 75 networking connections. Attendees crafted custom cardboard “Noggles,” scored Noun-themed tote bags and POAP badges, and shared event recordings for remote audiences. A special BBQ onboarding session welcomed four new women into Web3.
January 2025
We ran 4 Nouns Meetups that engaged 46 creatives and 10 local beginners in music, art and Web3. In Santiago, 9 new music projects kicked off at our debut camp led by Yorka Pastenes. Industry experts guided creatives through IP protection, live show production and global promotion. In Taboão da Serra, 5 attendees created their first crypto wallet and claimed their first digital dollar.
December 2024
We brought Nouns culture to over 450 surf fans in Vila Velha with a film premiere featuring live music and networking. In Talca and Santiago, 8 local artists joined hands-on sessions and 9 people got trained in Web3 basics. Each meetup connected creatives, built local Nounish communities and got Nouns noticed.
November 2024
Two lively gatherings in Santiago united Nouns enthusiasts and local creatives. Our builder session at the Anselmo Cadiz Cultural Center welcomed 6 creatives for hands-on project creation and 10 people for Web3 training. Participants rocked Nouns noggles and even battled it out in an urban dance showdown. We successfully wove Nouns and blockchain into two cultural events.
